Agnes Schaap

Agnes Schaap is a Dutch politician and administrator who served as the mayor of Renkum from May 2017 until May 2025. Before her tenure as mayor, she was a member of the municipal council of Wijchen from 2006 to 2014, where she also served as a council leader and deputy chair. In 2014, she was appointed as an alderman in Wijchen, overseeing portfolios including social affairs, sustainability, and economic development. Prior to her political career, she worked as a director and administrator for the healthcare institution Malderburch in Malden between 1998 and 2014.
