Ajith Perera

Ajith Perera is a Sri Lankan politician and lawyer currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Kalutara District. A founding member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), he previously held ministerial roles, including State Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, where he spearheaded the 'Battle for Solar Energy' initiative. With a legal career spanning over three decades, he is a member of the Constitutional Council of Sri Lanka and serves as the Deputy Whip of the Opposition. He is recognized for his contributions to renewable energy policy and digital infrastructure modernization in Sri Lanka.
