Harshana Rajakaruna is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament representing the Gampaha Electoral District. Born in 1980, he is the son of politician Sarathchandra Rajakaruna. He was educated at Royal College, Colombo, and holds a management degree from the University of Nottingham along with an MBA from the University of Wales, Cardiff. Before entering national politics, he worked as a Senior Investment Advisor at John Keells Stock Brokers and served as a member of the Western Provincial Council starting in 2009. A former member of the United National Party, he was first elected to the national parliament in 2015 and has since been re-elected, most recently in 2024 as a candidate for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
