Akbar Ali

Muhammad Akbar Ali is an American politician serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives for the 106th district. Elected in a special election runoff on December 2, 2025, he holds the distinction of being the youngest state legislator in Georgia. Prior to his election, he served as the First Vice Chair of the Gwinnett County Democratic Party. His political platform focuses on lowering costs for families, supporting public education, and expanding healthcare coverage for low-income residents.
