Albana Koçiu is an Albanian politician who served as the Minister of Internal Affairs from September 2025 to March 2026. Prior to this, she held the position of Minister of Health and Social Protection from 2023 to 2025. Before entering ministerial office, Koçiu had a long career in public administration, notably serving as the Director of the Department of Public Administration starting in 2013, where she focused on legal and organizational reforms. She also held various roles within the Municipality of Tirana and served as an associate professor at the University of Tirana for over a decade.
