Albert Buttigieg is a former Maltese politician from the Nationalist Party who served as a Member of Parliament for District 10 and as the Shadow Minister for the Family and Social Security. Before entering national politics, he was a Roman Catholic priest, a lecturer at the University of Malta and MCAST, and served as the Mayor of St. Julian's from 2019 to 2023. He announced his departure from politics after the 2026 Maltese general election.
