Alberto Weretilneck

Alberto Weretilneck is an Argentine politician currently serving as the Governor of Río Negro Province, a position he assumed in 2023 after previously holding the office from 2012 to 2019. Born in El Bolsón, he began his political career as the mayor of Cipolletti from 2007 to 2011. Throughout his career, he has served as a Senator for Río Negro and founded the provincial alliance Juntos Somos Río Negro. His administration has focused on regional infrastructure development, housing projects, and educational initiatives, including the establishment of bilingual schools in the province.
