Alco Ngobese

Alco Kufakwezwe Ngobese is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since September 2025. A long-time member of the Inkatha Freedom Party, he previously served on the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality city council starting in 2000, where he chaired the human settlements committee and held a portfolio in the mayoral committee. In May 2025, Ngobese survived an assassination attempt in Katlehong and subsequently filled a casual vacancy in the National Assembly.
