Alejandro Carlos Chacón

Alejandro Carlos Chacón Camargo is a Colombian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Colombia, a position he has held since 2022. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served as a member of the Chamber of Representatives from 2010 to 2022. During his tenure in the lower house, he notably served as the president of the Chamber of Representatives from 2018 to 2019. He remains an active figure in Colombian national politics.
