Alemu Sime

Alemu Sime Feyisa is an Ethiopian politician currently serving as the Minister of Transport and Logistics, a position he has held since January 2023. He is also a member of the House of Peoples' Representatives, representing the Abomsa constituency. Previously, he served as the deputy director of the Metals and Engineering Corporation (METEC) from 2019 to 2023. A member of the Prosperity Party, he was formerly affiliated with the Oromo Democratic Party. In 2025, he was appointed as a board member of the United Nations Road Safety Fund.
