Alex Valdez

Alex Valdez is an American politician serving as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing the 5th House District since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he has held leadership roles including Chair of the Energy and Environment Committee, Chair of the LGBTQ Caucus, and Chair of the Latino Caucus. Throughout his legislative career, Valdez has focused on environmental policy, energy efficiency, child care accessibility, and public health protections. He also briefly campaigned for Mayor of Denver between 2022 and 2023.
