Alexander Freier-Winterwerb

Alexander Freier-Winterwerb is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in East Berlin, he studied labor studies and history at the Technical University of Berlin and Humboldt University of Berlin. Before his election to the state parliament in 2023, he served as a member of the Treptow-Köpenick district assembly and as a district councilor for youth and health. He also worked for many years as a parliamentary assistant in the German Bundestag.
