Alexandre Silveira

Alexandre Silveira de Oliveira is a Brazilian politician and the current Minister of Mines and Energy. A member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), he previously served as a federal deputy and as a senator for the state of Minas Gerais. Before his legislative career, Silveira worked as a police chief and held significant administrative roles, including serving as the general director of the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) and as the Secretary of State for Health in Minas Gerais.
