Iulian-Alexandru Muraru

Iulian-Alexandru Muraru is a Romanian politician, historian, and political scientist serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. Born in 1982 in Iași, he specializes in the study of the Holocaust, communism, and the history of Romanian intellectual thought. He first assumed office in 2020, succeeding Costel Alexe, and was subsequently re-elected in the 2020 parliamentary elections. Muraru is a member of the National Liberal Party and is the twin brother of diplomat Andrei Muraru.
