Alfred S. Romualdez is a Filipino politician and businessman currently serving as the 11th Mayor of Tacloban. A member of the prominent Romualdez political family, he previously served as Mayor from 2007 to 2016 and represented the 1st district of Leyte in the House of Representatives from 1998 to 2001. Throughout his career, he has focused on local governance and urban development, notably leading the city's recovery efforts following the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. He is a cousin of President Bongbong Marcos and Representative Martin Romualdez.
