Allen Chesser

Allen Chesser is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 25th district since 2023. A former law enforcement officer who served in the Army National Guard from 2003 to 2009, he unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2018 before his election to the state legislature. As a representative, Chesser has focused on legislative efforts such as the Fostering Care in NC Act to improve state oversight of foster care systems. He is also a vocal advocate for increased regulations on cannabis and THC products in North Carolina.
