Amparo Marco

María Amparo Marco Gual is a Spanish economist and politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Spain. Born in Castellón de la Plana, she holds a doctorate in business management and administration and previously worked as a professor at Jaume I University. Her political career includes serving as a deputy in the Corts Valencianes from 2003 to 2011 and as the mayor of Castellón de la Plana from 2015 to 2023, where she became the city's first female mayor.
