Amr Talaat

Amr Talaat is an Egyptian engineer, academic, and government official currently serving as the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Egypt, a position he has held since 2018. Before entering government, he had a distinguished 30-year career at IBM Egypt, where he served as Country General Manager. He holds a doctorate in business administration and has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Cairo University. As minister, he has focused on advancing Egypt's digital transformation, infrastructure development, and the implementation of the Egypt Vision 2030 strategy.
