Anastazia Wambura

Anastazia Wambura is a Tanzanian politician and a member of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party. She has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 2005, holding a special seat reserved for women. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has been a member of several key committees, including the Natural Resources and Environment Committee and the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security Committee. In 2015, she was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports in the government of President John Magufuli. Before entering politics, she worked as a teacher and project coordinator for the Catholic Church.
