André van de Nadort is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the acting mayor of Waadhoeke since April 2025. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), he previously held mayoral positions in Ten Boer and Weststellingwerf. Before entering politics, he worked in land development and spatial planning. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various regional boards and heritage foundations. In August 2025, he announced he would temporarily reduce his mayoral duties to undergo treatment for prostate cancer.
