Andrew Farmer

Andrew Ellis Farmer is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 17, a position he has held since January 2013. Born in 1979, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University and a Juris Doctor from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. In 2023, Farmer gained national attention for sponsoring and supporting resolutions to expel three Democratic colleagues from the House following protests at the state capitol.
