Anne Shepley

Anne Shepley is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Born in Stralsund, she studied communication science and Polish studies at the University of Greifswald and spent a decade living in New Zealand before returning to Germany in 2014. She joined Alliance 90/The Greens in 2018 and served as the party's lead candidate in the 2021 state election. A proponent of the realpolitik wing of her party, Shepley focuses heavily on climate protection and environmental policy. After taking a hiatus from August 2023 to January 2025 for medical treatment, she resumed her parliamentary duties.
