António da Silva Tiago

António da Silva Tiago is a Portuguese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Maia, a position he has held since 2017. A civil engineer by training, he has dedicated much of his professional and political life to the development of the Maia municipality. His administration focuses on infrastructure modernization, social housing, and environmental sustainability, including the expansion of the Porto Metro and the development of the Leça River Green Corridor. He represents the 'Maia em Primeiro' coalition, which brings together the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the CDS-PP.
