Margarida Balseiro Lopes

Margarida Balseiro Lopes is a Portuguese politician and jurist currently serving as the Minister of Youth and Modernization in the XXIV Constitutional Government of Portugal. A member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), she previously served as a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic and as the president of the Social Democratic Youth (JSD). Educated in law and management at the University of Lisbon and the Catholic University of Portugal, she has been active in local politics in Marinha Grande since 2013. Her career includes significant roles in student representation and parliamentary committees focused on budget, finance, and youth affairs.
