Anthony DeLuca

Anthony J. DeLuca is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 80th district, a position he has held since his appointment in March 2009. Prior to his legislative career, he served as the mayor of Chicago Heights, Illinois, beginning in 2003. Although he was previously associated with the Republican Party, he transitioned to the Democratic Party upon his appointment to the state legislature. In the Illinois House, he has chaired several committees, including the Cities & Villages Committee and the Local Government Subcommittee, focusing on local governance and infrastructure policy.
