Antoin Scholten

Antoin Scholten is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the Mayor of Venlo, a position he has held since November 2012. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously served as the Mayor of Zwijndrecht from 2002 to 2012. Earlier in his career, Scholten was a municipal councilor and alderman in Deventer, where he managed portfolios including education, traffic, and urban planning. He is a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
