Anton Šturbej is a Slovenian politician and master of management born on February 17, 1960. He grew up in Žahenberc near Rogatec and worked for several years at the Štore Ironworks before serving in the Slovenian Armed Forces. In the 2022 parliamentary elections, he ran as a candidate for the Slovenian Democratic Party in the Šmarje pri Jelšah constituency and was elected as a member of the National Assembly of Slovenia, where he also serves as vice-chair of the Commission for Petitions, Human Rights and Equal Opportunities.
