Antonio Luengo Zapata

Antonio Luengo Zapata is a Spanish politician who has served as a member of the Senate of Spain since 2023. Prior to his current role in the national legislature, he held significant regional positions in the government of the Region of Murcia. From 2019 to 2022, he served as the minister of water, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and environment, and he subsequently expanded his portfolio to include emergencies from 2022 to 2023. He is affiliated with the People's Party.
