Antwan McClellan is an American politician serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 1st Legislative District since 2020. A lifelong resident of Ocean City, he previously served on the Ocean City Council from 2012 to 2020 and held positions on the local board of education. McClellan is notable for being the first African American Republican elected to the New Jersey legislature since 2002. In his legislative role, he serves on the Appropriations, Homeland Security and State Preparedness, and Tourism, Gaming and the Arts committees.
