Anura Karunathilake

Anura Karunathilake is a Sri Lankan politician serving as a Member of Parliament representing the National List since November 2024. A member of the National People's Power party, he has held several high-level ministerial positions within the government. He previously served as the Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing from November 2024 to October 2025. In October 2025, he was appointed Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, and in April 2026, he assumed the additional portfolio of Minister of Energy.
