Kuragamage Don Lalkantha is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation. A prominent member of the National People's Power and the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, he was elected to the Parliament of Sri Lanka for the Kandy Electoral District in 2024. Previously, he served as a Member of Parliament for the Anuradhapura District from 2001 to 2010. His political career has been marked by his early involvement in the JVP insurgency and his recent focus on agricultural policy, including controversial remarks regarding human-wildlife conflict in the country.
