Chathuranga Abeysinghe

Chathuranga Abeysinghe is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Colombo Electoral District and as the Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development. A member of the National People's Power (NPP) party, he also serves on its national executive committee. Before entering politics, he worked for MAS Holdings from 2007 to 2022 and later operated as a freelance Data Science and Analytics Consultant. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and an alumnus of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Nalanda College, Colombo. In early 2025, he gained public attention for his policy proposals regarding the optimization of coconut exports.
