April Fleming Miller

April Fleming Miller is an American politician and optometrist currently serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 4. A self-described common-sense conservative, she was sworn into office in January 2023 and serves on the House Ways and Means Committee. Prior to her legislative career, Miller served two terms on the Frederick County Board of Education from 2010 to 2018 and was appointed to the Frederick Community College Board of Trustees in 2020. Her policy focus includes education reform, environmental and noise regulations for data centers, and parental rights in school settings.
