Arif Masood

Arif Masood is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Bhopal Madhya constituency in Madhya Pradesh. He first rose to prominence after winning his seat in the 2018 assembly elections and successfully secured re-election in 2023. Masood is notable for being one of the few Muslim legislators in the 15th and 16th Madhya Pradesh Assemblies. His political career began during his university years in student politics, and he has been a long-standing member of the Indian National Congress, with a brief period of affiliation with the Samajwadi Party between 2003 and 2007.
