Arnout Coel is a Belgian-Flemish politician and a member of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA). Born on August 10, 1985, he has been active in the N-VA since his youth. Before entering the Flemish Parliament in 2019, he worked in the energy sector and served as a cabinet secretary and budget adviser to federal secretary of state Theo Francken. He also held various local party leadership roles in Rotselaar, Lubbeek, and the Leuven district. Coel currently serves as a representative in the Flemish Parliament, where he succeeded Ben Weyts.
