August Pfluger

August Pfluger is an American politician and retired U.S. Air Force colonel serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 11th congressional district since 2021. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he served for 20 years as a pilot and briefly worked on the National Security Council before entering politics. In Congress, he serves on the Committees on Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Energy and Commerce. Pfluger is known for his conservative policy positions, including strong support for the energy sector and a staunch pro-Israel stance.
