Herb Conaway

Herb Conaway is an American politician and physician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 3rd congressional district since 2025. Before his election to Congress, he served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1998 to 2025, where he held leadership roles including Deputy Speaker and Chair of the Health Committee. A veteran of the United States Air Force Medical Corps, Conaway holds both an M.D. and a J.D. degree. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent advocate for public health, notably supporting legislation to eliminate religious exemptions for mandatory school vaccinations.
