
Ayşe Böhürler

Ayşe Böhürler is a Turkish journalist, documentary filmmaker, and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Kayseri. A founding member of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), she began her media career in 1992 and gained recognition for her documentaries on topics such as women's rights, Islam, and the refugee crisis. Since 2007, she has been a columnist for the newspaper Yeni Şafak. In the 2023 Turkish general elections, she was elected to parliament, where she serves on the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission.
