Balmukund Acharya

Balmukund Acharya is an Indian politician and spiritual leader currently serving as a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly representing the Hawa Mahal constituency. Elected in 2023 as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party, he is also known as the Acharya of Hathoj Dham in Jaipur. His political career has been marked by a focus on Hindu nationalist themes, including advocacy for the closure of meat stalls near religious sites and public debates regarding the wearing of hijabs in schools.
