Bawan Singh is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Katra Bazar constituency in the Gonda district. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has been elected to the assembly five times, beginning his legislative career in 1995 following a by-election. He is the son of the late Ram Singh, who also served as an MLA for three terms. Singh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from M.L.K. PG College in Balrampur.
