Betty Aol Ochan is a Ugandan politician and educator who has served as a Member of Parliament representing Gulu District. A member of the Forum for Democratic Change, she previously held the position of Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of Uganda from 2018 to 2021. Before entering national politics, she worked as a secondary school teacher and a rural development worker for the non-profit organization ACORD. She also served on the Gulu District Council for nine years prior to her election to the national legislature in 2006.
