Florence Kabugho

Florence Kabugho is a Ugandan politician and former journalist who serves as the Woman Representative for Kasese District in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. Before her election in 2021, she worked as a radio journalist for stations including Radio Uganda and Messiah FM. She also held several administrative roles within the Rwenzururu Kingdom, serving as Deputy Kingdom Spokesperson and Minister for Gender and Protocol. As a legislator, Kabugho has focused her political platform on improving access to education for girls and enhancing local maternal health facilities.
