Mourine Osoru is a Ugandan legislator and accountant currently serving as the elected Woman Representative for Arua City in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. First elected in 2016, she previously served in the tenth parliament and has been a member of committees focused on human rights, gender, labor, and social development. In 2017, she achieved international recognition when she was elected President of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Osoru holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of East London and has focused her political career on addressing youth and women's unemployment.
