Bill Powers

Bill Powers is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee Senate for the 22nd district since 2019. Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, he previously served two terms on the Clarksville City Council, where he held leadership roles in local utility and recreation boards. Since his election to the state senate, he has focused on regional infrastructure, environmental issues such as addressing the Asian carp invasion, and public health initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Tennessee.
