Binita Kathayat is a Nepalese politician and former media professional currently serving as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. Born in Jumla, she pursued studies in political science in India and film making in Mumbai before working as an assistant director and costume stylist in the Nepali film industry. She also produced television programming for Galaxy 4K TV. In 2022, she joined the newly formed Rastriya Swatantra Party and was elected to the Federal Parliament as a proportional representative for the Khas Arya cluster.
