Birgit Op de Laak

Birgit Op de Laak is a Dutch politician and administrator serving as the Mayor of Nederweert since August 2019. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), she previously served as an alderman and municipal councilor in Horst aan de Maas. She has announced her intention to step down from her mayoral position in April 2027.
