Roel Cazemier is a Dutch administrator and politician affiliated with the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). Since January 2, 2024, he has served as the acting mayor of Terschelling. Throughout his extensive career in public administration, he has held mayoral positions in Ruinerwold, Ameland, Dongeradeel, Dinkelland, and Krimpenerwaard. Additionally, he served as the general director of Omrop Fryslân and was appointed chair of the Provincial Commission for Rural Areas in 2023. In 2022, he was honored as a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau for his contributions to public service.
