Brandon Michael Newton is an American politician serving as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives for the 45th District. First elected in 2016 at the age of 22, he became the youngest member to serve in the state House at that time. A member of the Republican Party, Newton co-chairs the South Carolina chapter of the Future Caucus, a cross-partisan organization for younger lawmakers. He has been active in state politics, including serving as an elector for the 2020 presidential election and endorsing Tim Scott's 2024 presidential campaign.
