Bruce Gillespie

Bruce Gillespie is an American politician serving as a member of the Montana Senate, representing the 9th district. Born in 1946 in Kevin, Montana, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Agriculture Business and Range Management from Montana State University and previously served two years in the Peace Corps in Ecuador. Gillespie was elected to the state senate in 2018. During his tenure, he has served on various committees including Natural Resources, Taxation, and Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation. In the 69th Montana Legislature, he was part of a moderate coalition of Republicans that worked with Democrats, a group that faced censure from the state party.
