Bruno Marchand is a Canadian politician currently serving as the 38th Mayor of Quebec City. Born in 1972, he holds a degree in philosophy from Université Laval and a certification in social work. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in the non-profit sector, notably serving as the director of Centraide Québec-Chaudière-Appalaches et Bas-Saint-Laurent. He founded the political party Québec forte et fière and was elected mayor in November 2021 following a closely contested municipal election.
